Mini-ballista

Post by Khaehaub »

Two rangers are coming together to craft a min-ballista. RangersamII and I(Khaehaub) are going to be making a ballista as our projectile launcher for a physics class. Sam has the schematics of the ballista (either Sam or I will post the schematics). Any ideas for a revised copy?

I actually built one myself for a physics class! once you post the schematic, post a pic of the kit to so i can see if it's the same kit! if so, i've got some great pointers! ours shot 30 m while everyone else's shot maybe 18!!! fun stuff!

Wow, how topical. My 8 year old and I are building one for my 10 year's birthday. We're modifying this instructables ballista. http://www.instructables.com/id/Hand-Held-Ballista/

My brother Mike made this one about 6 years ago. You can also see a small catapult in the background.

Cool ballista everyone. Even though most are to big for the physics project that Sam and I are creating, the ideas are still pretty cool.

Tech class seems like a class that you could do that in. That sucks man. Sam and I need a name for our ballista. We're going to write in dwarvish runes on the bottom. Any ideas for names?
