Well Peter, unless one uses a real flimsy material.. it should hold just fine. Card weaving pieces were originally made to use as straps for bags, belts and such. I have a question for you all... I see alot of crafty things here but it's mostly leather, weapons, some garb and metal work.. I was wondering if any of you would be interested in things FOR your garb.. like say.. hand woven trim? I'm not talking fancy bright colors (unless those are what you want) ...
