I am thinking about which I want to do I Love the ranger apprentices books and Tolkien's LOTR!

One way is to simply take a rectangular piece of cloth left over from making a cloak and just wrap it around the lower portion of your face. it looks to me like he was a oiled leather cover for his wool blanket
then his quiver on top
