Re: Wake the White Wolf
Oh i now this it was written by Miracle of Sound for the upcoming Witcher 3. Which is an interesting game as it is based off the works of a polish writer who i guess you could compare in a way to tolkien in the way that he created his world in the books. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0trGRJs_IU W...

Re: Sword scabbard suspension
I do not believe anyone posted this method (correct me if I am blind :p) it is a viking method I did not know of before until fiddled around with the strap that came on the sword I recently got and found that it fits over the shoulder allowing the sword to be held upright without dragging across the...

Re: Windlass Migration Era Viking Sword
After further looking it makes me wonder how they actually do compare to each other, the Del Tin is 1" longer and 2 ounces heavier. From what I read they use slightly different steel but from what I have read and what I know from my other Windlass swords it is of good quality. The windlass come...

Re: Windlass Migration Era Viking Sword
Thank you Wulfgar. Kortoso I think I may have taken what you said the wrong way but this in fact one made by windlass. I can see where the thought comes though I looked up the Del Tin 2070 and they are almost the exact same blade with minor differences. Mine- http://www.kultofathena.com/product.asp?...

Windlass Migration Era Viking Sword
Well I was feeling the need for another sword to add to the armory and I've had my eye on this one for a little while. It's a windlass Migration Era viking sword from KoA. I have bought Windlass before and they are decent quality for the money... not an Albion sadly but it'll do. I love the scabbard...

Re: Salt box
Here is my half hour of woodwork for the day.
Dimensions
3 3/8" by 1 1/16"
holds a nice palmfull of salt and more is coming out as I put the salt in when the wood was still drying without noticing it so add a few pinches more.

Re: Fableblades just put out a new Heronmark sword
Most of those blades are on commission anyway it takes someone wanting to have a true to book blade.
Re: Salt box
Got the wood needed for this so I'm going to make a few of them a little bigger. 2-3 for salt/spices 2-3 for herbs for wounds and maybe one lined with bees wax for a vial for a oil extract.

Re: An interesting find
I don't know about comfort or breath ability the main reason for it's use is it's amazing quality of absorbing arrows and blows while being lighter than plate and probably the same as an equivalent leather armor but much cheaper.
