I'm new and in NH as well. I'm into archery, dnd, hiking, camping, HEMA, done a little smithing and am 41. Let's gear up, swing some wasters and hit the trails!

I've been contiplating that same blade, but the images in KoA are a bit grainy. Did you keep the Tinker threaded tang or peen it?

Just ordered a nice, natural brown wool for my pants from Wm Booth Draper. Their browns and greens are varied enough in weight and hue that I should be able to put together a pretty nice kit.

A couple years ago I did up a hiberno-Norse kit. Fashion victims of the dark ages, there were blue of woad, yellow, saffron and red. Kinda looking forward to a more subdued kit.

I've fought with nasal helmets in ACL, and found my brain quickly adapted. Are folks thinking that 3rd age rangers wore more of a Norman Nadal since it would fit under a hood easier than a nasal spangenhelm?
