Some moc makers use a piece of conveyor belt material. I believe it's a impregnated cloth based material. Some also offer a rubber sole. At least one of the top moc makers sells soles separately as even their footwear needs to be resoled periodically. Check Sodhoppers, Catskill Mt and any of the oth...

I looked around and I couldn't find any real alternatives to the two. I personally woud stick with the oilskin. Regardless of the material you are going to keep it a goodly distance from fire. While Sunforager may not burst into flames it will melt fiarly quikly and molten plastic on lyour skin will...

Well, I can sew something that is fairly simple. I'm working on basic leather craft. Some of the leather for my new boots is sitting in my room waiting for me to get to the leather store to buy the rest of what I need. Cooking? We can at least eat what I cook, but it could use some work. Eric: What...

I'll be up several times during the season. Unfortunately the Fair ends the w/e before the 29th but we still have time to choose a good weekend.

During the next few weeks I'll check their site and let everyone know when they run their discount tickets.

If you're not sure of your anchor point check out one of your books, they will cover it in depth I'm sure. If they don't just reply here and one of us will cover it. Have som...
