Physically due to injuries I wouldn't be keeping up with anyone on a trailhead or march, but I do know how to cook quite well, even with limited ingredients and I can make rudimentary maps. Now that is a love letter if I have ever read one, Elleth and spot on. For me, I get different things from the books every time I read them, but yes, as we start to stray into the autumn and winter of our lives, one can truly appreciate them.

Aieee! I have never seen the buckle on the back of the quiver! What a great find, and I think it would support that the quiver and bow (which the Weapons and Warfare book says is a cut down Gondorian bow) came from his time there.
