This would be great to attend as I have a friend who instructs and this groups a lot of common interests, but several other week-long events take priority for time-off and expenses. Maybe someday?

Shield looks good. Are you going to edge it with any reinforcements, like tabs or stitching? I was thinking the canvas might come loose or undone after some wear & tear.

Wow, what a great kit!

I had high hopes when I first heard of this, but am a little dis-appointed: LARP-like scenes and costumes, over-acting, and small visual mis-cues put me off. I'll still watch it, but not what I expected.

The chase scenes, the Black Arrow's and Bard's mis-representation, and the far-too numerous add-ons pushed me away. I have no desire to see this. I disavow it's existence and consider these non-canonical, ...except the The Song of The Lonely Mountain scene, which I thought was very moving.
