Re: Quick trek

I need a few more miles under my belt before I feel worth of such praise. Thankfully my auto immune disease seems to be in retreat, I've been crafting and am back in the gym building my strength and fitness back up. Pack walks start next month. Glad to hear it, Eofor! Keep us updated on the journey...

Re: Esgaroth - Merchant Adventurer Sword

Very nice, that’s definitely from the old days of Windlass! Another option in regards to the guard would be to either shorten or cut off the knuckle bow completely, which would make the sword seem a little more Middle Earth friendly. Just a thought!

Udwin, the lengths you go to research and authentically portray your personas is nothing short of inspiring. I hope to one day get to this level of depth for Barandir and the other two half-formed personas I have stewing in my brain.

I love the concept!

I suggest setting up an Imgur account and following the instructions on the post abt linking images into your posts. It’s actually super easy!

I don’t have any more pictures of the process for that one, but I have some others in progress that I will try to capture more thoroughly this time!

Re: What's everyone working on?

I'm late posting these, but I finally finished a scabbard project about a month ago that sat in limbo for a couple of years. I made the core ages ago, but just never got around to the leather cover. Finally got a friend to help me out since he's done these before and I have not. The blade is a Ronin...

Re: [Concept Art] Ranger costume

I think a good brownish gray, something approaching heather color, would work really well for an all-weather cloak.
