Re: Hidehandler Mountain Hunter Elite Quiver Review

That is a really nice quiver. There are a ton of little details that would make it take a very long time to create. It's certainly an excellent find for that price.

Re: knife sheath project

Even though I started this project a while back, I'm finally getting around to finishing it. Here are current pictures. After it dries around the knife, the last steps will be to crease designs, dye, and add a button for the belt loop.

Re: New Lars Anderson Video

I've had multiple people ask me about this video on Facebook. I fall into a very similar camp to Greg and Ursus. http://www.snopes.com/info/news/larsandersen.asp Apparently he lets the film run and only keeps the takes where he gets it. Also, some of the shots were set up with props such as using a ...

Re: knife sheath project

The centerseam looks really easy and perfect for what I was envisioning. This will also give me the opportunity to start practicing tooling. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Looking around on the internet, it's hard to find anything that's both not modern looking with lots of rivets and a big, b...

Re: New arrows! Back to the butts...and questions

I can't say that I've heard of a tournament not allowing nocking points. Many will require only a single nocking point. They fit any period using the method Greg described. In fact, I would say that it's essential for consistency to have a locator for where to nock your arrow on the string so it's t...

Re: 'k It's out.. wha'cha think?

In any case, I feel like Jackson caught "George Lucas Sickness" (which is kind of like "Dragon Sickness," only exclusive to filmmakers). In other words, he made one awesome movie (Fellowship / A New Hope) and totally blew everyone away, so for the next two movies in the trilogy ...
