Fire kit for my D&D crew

Post by Dorsidhion »

hey all!
I wanted to show off a little fire kit I made for the members of my D&D Group. It was a big hit.

The Stiker and Flint are from Merk works.
The Jute twine is for a birds nest
an altoids tin for the char tin
a piece of fatwood to get a fire going
On the little sack I wrote everyones name in Sindarin. This ones mine.

Good work :P
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.

If I'd been given something like that in an early D&D session decades ago, I would've been into this hobby MUCH sooner! Good on you!

Thanks! We've been playing on line and last night, they all busted out their kits and the spark flew!

I think it was good luck because we went up against a white Dragon and did not die!

Nice. I love the idea of using twine as tinder, since you can also use it as...twine. I’m all about multi use things that cut down the number of items in your kit.
