A Long-Expected Project

Post by BrianGrubbs »

A few years back, I posted that one of my goals for the new year (2018 I believe) was to launch a series on my YouTube channel concerning Middle Earth Rangers. One silver lining to the extensive quarantining that has resulted from COVID-19 has been the time it has given me to finally start the filming process. I’m three videos in at this point, with who knows how many to go in the future (I have at least the next 20 already outlined).

The core of the series will be discussing the real world practice of the skills demonstrated by Aragorn in the books, with tangential videos on gear, equipment, and craft projects that aren’t mentioned in the primary texts, but are needed to support those skills.

Whether I’m filming, making notes, writing scripts, or researching skills, this community is always on my mind. Though I am not as active here as some, I always try to keep up with what is being discussed. I just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate each one of you, and the joy that having this group to share with has brought to me over the years.

If your interested in checking out the series, it’s here

So far your series is awesome :P thanks thanks for the heads up on new video's, I haven't had time to check out YouTube for a few weeks
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
Aragorn: It's the beards.

Subscribed! I'll have a watch when I'm back at work (and have the spare time) holidays are too busy.
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.
