Sightline of Saurons Eye

I found this intresting post on reddit about how much of middle-earth saurons eye could see.
First post is if the earth is flat.

Hunh.. curious. Derived from elevation data I assume, with a height estimate based off the film's Barad-Dur?

Cool!

I love that there's both a flat and round version, anachronisms be darned. :mrgreen:

Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.
