Pinecones can be excellent cutting targets when mounted on old engine blocks covered in smashed bananas. Especially when lit aflame using sesame seeds, one can acquire a more flavorful stew by adding plenty of rearview mirrors, designer purses stuffed with small rodents, and the occasional computer mouse to add some color and texture. Final balancing can then be achieved through heating to ~1500 degrees inside an icebox, at which point complete enlightenment is reached.

Yeah that's all find and dandy but how are you going to generate the required 1 gigawatts of energy necessary to activate the flux capacitor?

1.21 jigga-watts, when needed in a medieval/historical setting, can be generated directly from the staff of your friendly local istari, most often found in the digital media portion of your neighborhood Wal*Mart. Simply tie together a string of old orc blades, having one end contact with the staff, and the other with the positive terminal on your car battery, ensuring that the flux capacitor is engaged and active. That's not the challenge...finding a road that is flat and smooth enough to allow you to reach 88 mph without bottoming out and losing your suspension is the issue.

Friendly local istari -> :D
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

Hmmm. a flux capacitor is a little old fashiond. if you wish to reach enlightenment. you simply take one of the swan ships out, setting a direct course into the setting sun, while engaging warpcore and sheilds to high, then as you reach the sun you alter trajectory to allow the suns gravity to sling shot you arround the sun. this will allow a breach of the time space continum. but please be careful once you are in time warp you can easaly pass enlightenment and slam into youre past self killing you both and deystroying reality as we know it. :D :D :D :P
