Wool vest?

Where can a fellow purchase a proper wool vest or weskit for his rangering?

They seem to have a little bit of everything, and if nothing else, you could probably find some sort of jacket that you like which you could then cut the sleeves off of, use them as arrow bags or something, and voila!

I'd still just say make your own so it looks how you really want it to, but that's just my two cents.

I love the Ranger Coat they have, but the $1,300 price tag is a bit spendy for my budget.

Indeed, Faolan. They vend at our local Highland Games (which is in two weeks) and I have seen that coat in person. Very much eye candy for the Ranger set, but that price is wayyyyy too much for this Ranger's budget.

I went to a thrift(2nd hand store) bought a 100% wool dbl brested suit coat vest an use it...works mitey fine!

If you want the best wool vest out there and don't mind being outside the ME style, I would suggest these two options. I have over 20 woolen garments and these outfitters are by far the best option.

They are pricey, but will save your body temp....
I would opt for the Wool Camo option first.
