Well figured I would post a pic of the ranger scarf/mask I am weaving for Erich's kit hehe.. the color is Charcoal Heather and it's 100% wool

I just have to wash my hands alot when weaving because of my sensitivity to wool hehehe.

Looks great ! How itchy will it be on ? Is there some type of softener that will decrease the itch factor ?

Oh yeah! my X-wife made me a pair of boxers out of that, but she put in something that she said I truly deserved...say what are nettles anyway? (scratch, scratch)

actually it's very soft.. it's Lamb's wool.

I just have skin reactions to processed wool.. of any kind. Raw wool, no issues.. so it's whatever chemical process that is used on wool for yarns and cloth.. doesn't like me hehe

And it doesn't matter the wool type either.. be it lamb, alpaca, sheep of any breed.. once it's been processed.. it don't like me hehehe

I checked that yarn when I was home and it was soft and didn't feel like the old scratchy wool most of us think of. Of course, there are softeners out there that should resolve any other issues.

Well I finished it!! I am surprised I got it done so fast though.. but once I had a rythem going it started to move along.

So here you go... some pics of the finished product.. our son Alex is modeling it for you hehehe

Oh and he has been trying to claim it for himself too.. told him he could wrestle dad for it hehe With both of them being pretty much the same size.. I'm not sure who would win.. although Erich does have Combatives training hehe
