Fairfax Pipe Stand FS
Have a vintage Fairfax pipe stand for sale. Made of walnut. Might be good for anyone with a collection of hobbit/wizard/ranger pipes they want to display. $25 shipped Priority to lower 48; could ship elsewhere for whatever extra is needed.

Man I can not believe the coincidence of you putting this up! I have been in every thrift shop I know of this week looking for one of these to display the batch of clay pipes I just made for the merchant event tomorrow. I made a quicky, make shift display rack, but if I sell a pipe tomorrow I will most certainly relieve you of that immediately!
These are my latest, they are going on sale tomorrow.
All five new pipes and the makeshift stand
The first 4 Bodersk Bear, Bandobras, Dwarf and Cree Rabbit
Love the movie "The Edge" with Anthony Hoppkins and Alec Baldwin, Why is the Rabbit unafraid?
Osberg Cart head carving

Re: Fairfax Pipe Stand FS
Well of course the Cree Rabbit sold right off, but the rest (and any other you folks might want to commission) are still up for grabs I was selling them at the event for $30.00 with a drawstring bag I will do the same for my Rangers and pick up the shipping. Let me know if there is any interest.
Bodersk Bear, Bandobras, Woodwarf and Osberg Head all ready to go!

Elemmakil,
Well my friend thankyou for your request to make a more period looking stem I found out just how to do the stem so that I elongate it, keep the filtration system and keep the champ or bit! now my question would be for you, how long would you like it? My standard Churchwarden has a stem measured from the shoulders (joint for the mortise and tenon of 8 1/2 inches, which is pretty common for that classification. The cool part is that my pipes can be practicaly any length we want. Wizard, Dwarf, Hobbit, Ranger, whatever you prefer.

8.5 inches would be just fine, if that is typical for "early" pipes. I'm over 6' tall so hobbit size probably isn't an optionRingulf wrote:Elemmakil,

Re: Fairfax Pipe Stand FS
Are we still doing some sort of trade, or have you decided to pass on this? Haven't gotten any reply in awhile.
If you are not interested, I guess I can take it to the local antique shop and see what they'll offer for it.

Sorry about that, still interested and have the pipe done for you, I have had family down with me and have not had too much time to communicate. I will send you a picture of the pipe and then we can ship to one another if you are satisfied.
