I almost finished the baldrics today, an hour or so tomarrow will see them done. While I was waiting for the mailman to bring some stuff to finish the baldrics, I was bored so I looked around to see what I had just laying around. I had enough stuff to do a shoulder harness (I have no butt so my swordbelts constantly slide down) so I made the brown harness to loop over my shoulder and keep my belt up. I had already made a black one for my black sword belts, some time ago, but I definately needed a brown one. I also noticed I had a pewter belt buckle, some belt mounts and a belt blank, so I did a belt. I'm not going to post the harness but I figured the belt and the haversack I did the other day were interesting so here goes.

Don't know why I lost track of this thread, but I started to post a new thread and remembered this one.
So, many of my winter projects became summer projects. They could run longer. Who knows?

Anyway, I started on the long overdue Clontarf scabbard recently. I'm taking some progress pics as I go. This is my first attempt at a scabbard, so be gentle when I show pics. So far, all of the mistakes are inside of the scabbard, so they won't be seen. I'm working on the boots again. I've had to make a few decisions about them in light of the lay-off infected budget. There were a couple of mistakes I had to correct before I continued anyway. You've seen pics of the knife I mentioned back then. The boot knife is coming along nicely. I need to pick up some solder to finish it though.

Pete, the coat looks like it would keep a ranger warm while allowing for mobility of the arms.
