Re: Arrow Fletching
Dang... I wish I had thought of something like this the first and last time I tried to fletch my own practice arrows. That is a very innovative idea that I really want to try my hand at now. Thanks for sharing Brian!
...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.
Re: Arrow Fletching
In many ways this is quite similar to RikJohnson's field fletching kit.

Re: Arrow Fletching
I was thinking of RikJohnson's kit when I saw this. I had intended to copy it for my field repair kit, and I still probably will, but the simplicity of this idea spoke to me
Since I have tons of leather scraps lying around, it was very easy for me to put the basic setup together. Now, once my feathers get here, I'll try it out!

my leather fletch-disc in my kit comes from this article.Manveruon wrote:In many ways this is quite similar to RikJohnson's field fletching kit.
My addition was to figure out a way to set the cock feather off the nock and put the twist in the feathers.
I have printed a LOT of the articles form that site.

Good prices, good customer relations, quick delivery.
I can get shafts, feathers and points at one place.

That is good pricing on their shafts.
