Mae govannen! A long time lurker's introduction.
Mae govannen! A long time lurker's introduction.
Mae govannen fellow rangers and free folk!
My name is Anthony (I also go by Rarnir) and I've been a member of this forum for many years now (and lurked for many before that), but I've failed to truly participate in this awesome community. I'd like to change that by formally introducing myself in hopes that I feel more comfortable posting more regularly. I'm a mid-twenties college student who hails from Connecticut and my school is located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. As a former lurker, I'd like to thank all of you for sharing your kits, skills, ideas, and thoughts, because the information and skills I have learned from this forum have been vast and invaluable and it's awesome to know there are people like all of you out there that love Tolkien to this very dedicated level.
My persona is a third age Dunedain ranger named Rarnir who joins up with Halbarad and the Grey Company. Because of this, I plan on incorporating more battle-related things as part of my kit than your average ranger would normally be concerned with.
I hope I can learn even more by being more active on this forum and I hope to get to know many of you in the process.
Sincerely,
Anthony/Rarnir

Welcome! I myself have recently returned from a long absence. The pull of the forum is strong, yes! Looking forward to seeing what you've got planned for your kit. Anything you'd care to share with us now?

Welcome Ranger!

Hail fellow!
But the white fury of the Northmen burned the hotter, and more skilled was their knighthood with long spears and bitter. Fewer were they but they clove through the Southrons like a fire-bolt in a forest.

Welcome
Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

That I do! I actually have quite a few things to share, I just need to take decent pictures of them and then I'll get to posting them.Cimrandir wrote:Welcome!
