Maybe I'll take a class one day, but it's just not in the cards right now.
A lot of it looks like what I do with smaller builds...mortise and tenons are more or less the same no matter what, but there were also a lot of things I've never seen before in those pictures...and they all make perfect sense.

Coming in late as usual these days. The beam twister looks a lot like what we call a log turner in the sawmill. We use it to flip stubborn logs and cants that don't want to move by sheer man power alone. Looks like a fascinating class. One that would benefit rangers quite a bit.
