LA Hike

Post by Ernildir »

So Greg recently invited me and my family to join him and his on a hike in the LA area. And we have pictures!

"You know, guys, I'm thinking that maybe we should get off the road."

Lori, Greg, and myself. No, I still haven't gotten my hair cut. :P

Image

Maia being awesome. And a little halfling in the corner.

Not sure what's happening here. I think this is when Maia was being relatively cooperative.

Looks like a lot of fun! It's great to see rangers getting out together!

I've got a few pics stashed that I'm gonna try to hunt down this week, but suffice to say, it was great to meet Ernildihir and Co., and we had a great time. Next time around, I expect we'll arrange for some archery time, etc.

Maia was being a bit uncooperative, but she's never had to fly free around 15 or so people before, so she was a bit nervous, and stayed up in a particular tree for quite awhile. It's all good though; she still put on a good show, and we all enjoyed ourselves!

Next time we get together, I'm sure we will. The trail we took, unfortunately, is highly trafficked, and I figured if Ernildihir's family and the little ones were all going to be around, we'd do better not having to explain ourselves 20+ times. Next time, at a different place, perhaps...*chuckles*.

I see your point sir! We do have that Photo contest coming up, and it will be great to see what you guys come up with!

Pete, if you keep up this cruel streak of your humor, my wife will look forward more to your posts than mine...
