Albion 1st gen spatha blade & bronze sword fittings

Post by Duathen »

I picked up these pieces with the intent of building my own sword, but as I'm getting ready to move I have to whiddle down some of my "project inventory." The blade was picked up from an Albion moat sale, first gen spatha. The edges have a secondary bevel and the blade is not heat-treated.

The fittings came from mercia sveiter. The casting quality is a bit rough, and one side of the pommel is pretty gnarly. Still, I really like the unusual pommel shape and the casting flaws really didn't bother me.

Blade: $40 shipped

Fittings: $40 shipped

Buy both the blade and the fittings and I'll knock off ten bucks, so you get the whole package shipped for $70.
