First Bow
Re: First Bow
I am Ringulf the Dwarven Woodsman, I craft leather, wood, metal, and clay,
I throw axes, seaxes, and pointy sticks, And I fire my bow through the day.
Come be my ally, lift up your mead! We'll search out our foes and the Eagles we'll feed!

Re: First Bow
It is an alternating, interactive, textbased RPG. In other words at this point as you have created your Character you can post what he is doing in a short story that leaves the action open for another writer to come in and respond and vice verso. many people can write together and it is interesting to see how each responds to the other just like real life conversation. After a while the thread becomes a story that has alternated between the many characters involved. Look at some of the other threads. I would suggest my first one called "the Ratcatcher and the Bear" You will see how it works and most likely have fun reading the story!
It totaly relies on creativity and imagination while honing your writing skills!

OK no problem, go to the Northern Fifes board, then go into Arulean, you will see the thread "The Rat Catcher and the Bear. Your new Mentor Pip is the girl who plays Mylia so you will see how she writes, and the Character Tory is also a member of the Merf site by the name of Brandwyn, She is my girlfriend and I met her there on Halt's Playground!

Re: First Bow
No, because of the arrow self and the high price. I am now making my own (like the one brian presented on youtube). You can find the tutorial here: http://poorfolkbows.com/oak.htm

Re: First Bow
I was finally able to go to Home Depot today to buy the materials needed for my first bow!!! It will be a red oak longbow and it will be a great project! And right after I make it I will go to a local Hobby Lobby and buy some leather for a quiver! Then I'll go back to Home Depot to get some wood for arrows!!!
