Rope?

Hard Kit is all other accoutrements that are not clothing, weapons or armour. This includes pots and tents, and flint & steel, and other things like that.

Got my rope yesterday from Hemp Traders, and it's fantastic! I couldn't be happier with the stuff! It's extremely soft, but seems to be quite strong, and does not seem to have much stretch (though this hasn't really been heavily tested yet). Anyway, I think it's going to be perfect for my purposes, and I really appreciate you guys pointing me in the right direction! Here's a pic of it right out of the box, and then a (slightly blurry) shot of the whipping I did to the ends. I used waxed linen thread for that purpose, and it worked quite well.

Clean whipping is always classy. Always liked it, for whatever reason. Nicely done!
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.
