I thought about the bracers for awhile and ultimately got them, haven't arrived yet, but I'll let you know what they are like. I figured despite having the ability and materials to make my own bracers the $20 was worth it. If Thea rent great or don't fit well I'm not out much and will go back to make my own pair.
