Does anyone know Sierra Striders Facebook or how I can get a hold of him? My mom just tested positive for covid and I sent him his Yule tide gift and I need to warn him.

If it helps allay your concerns at all, I will say that all the most recent info I have read suggests that surfaces seem to pose a relatively low risk in terms of transmission, particularly if it’s something rough and/or porous (no idea if it is, but still). And since we’ve got over a month still until Yule itself when we’ll all be opening our gifts, any potential contaminants will almost certainly be inert by that time.
That’s not 100% assured, of course, but if I were Sierra Strider I would just set the package aside for the next few weeks and wouldn’t be terribly concerned about opening it in mid/late December with total peace of mind.

(And of course, feel free to take or leave my two cents as you see fit, I just hope that maybe this helps put anyone’s minds at ease who might need it.)

I've been informed. Thanks for reaching out. Thankfully, there's good evidence that COVID is not very infectous at all through fomite vectors. The box and its contents should be safe, and definitely will be by Yule.

Very thankfully. She had slight coldlike symptoms when I sent the package and only now is feeling a little sick. I only wish I would have been more cautious.
