Ranger camp axe blade cover

Post by Ghostsoldier »

Having a camp axe is great, but trying to carry it on my person without cutting or slicing myself open while in the bush is a risk I'm not willing to take, so I decided to make a blade cover out of leather, dyed and tooled with the same Numenorian/Gondorian designs as the camp axe handle sleeves.

Hey, if it's going to be a set, it might as well match aesthetically. I'll be making the belt carrier next to compliment the axe and blade cover, so stay tuned.

Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

Beautiful work, absolutely well done! Is that a CRKT hatchet? Your hand has placed it right into Middle Earth! 8)
