Hello from Arkansas

Hello all,
My name is Marvin, long time lurker first time poster. I have always had a love for Tolkien, ever since seeing the old "The Hobbit" and "LOTR" movies on tv in the 70's and 80's, and my dad reading "The Hobbit" to me as a kid. I have always been involved in some sort or reenacting most of my life. I have done the SCA, mountain man, French & Indian War, and my current obsession is War Between the State or Civil War. I consider myself somewhat of a campaigner when it comes to Civil War, going to reenactments with only what I can carry on myself and what was documented for that time and place. I have been wanting to do some Ranger style treks for a few years now and will probabaly start working on some new equipment, although much of what I have will work in one way or another. Is there anyone else in Arkansas who does Rangering, or is there anyone lurking like myself in Arkansas who is intersted?
I hope to be talking and sharing info with everyone again soon.
