Willrett's image should work for you, but my suggestion would be to attach the straps to the top, as shown, and then attach the bottom straps to the rings that you have already. That'll hold it closer to your back, keeping it from banging around. The nice thing about Backpack quivers is that the arrows sit behind your head, so it protects them from branches and such. Since you don't generally bang your head into trees, you won't generally bang your arrows into them either.
Now the sword shall come from under the cloak.

Cinead- could you post some pics of your quiver please, I'm interested to see what you mean. And what points do you use for small game?
