Yep, that's me. Both the elf armor and the rohirrim armor are made of leather. It's hard to see from the resolution of the picture, but there is horse stuff tooled all over that. One of my brothers does leather pretty extensively. We also made the vambraces I'm wearing, and I forged the rohirrim helmet. The guy in black is wearing the maille that I made when I was younger.

My name is Chris Maher. Im an artist, musician, and costume designer. I love Lord of the Rings as all of us do. I live in Virginia, and am the Chapter Rep for a local Star Wars group. Im gearing up for a great event in Kentucky called ALEP3. I can't wait to go back to it next year. I look forward to chatting with you all.

Ok well here it goes!!!
I'm Addreonnyn (John) I live in the mid-west. I'm 20 yo and my best friend and I have been utterly obsessed with LOTR since the age of 8ish I believe. We've fought each other with sticks, like all boys do, but we didn't stop. lol and we got pretty good at it!!! I fight with pretty much all weapons bc I believe that one should know how if they planned on using the knowledge at any point. so if the need arises, i would like to be prepared. I specialize in spear and staff and bow and dual swords. When ranging, I carry a spear, bow, long knife, and tomahawk. when fighting for fun with friends, I tend to use two swords about 40 inches long. Partially due to the more of a challenge factor, but mainly bc some of my friends won't fight me when i use a spear unless they team up on me! lol I've been into bushcraft for my whole life bc of my Cherokee background. my dad taught me alot, and so did YouTube! My friend is a huge admirer of Aragorn so he uses a two-handed sword with deadly purpose. we've taught our friends to fight also, and some of them got pretty good!!! I stumbled onto this site while looking for the best ranger gear! and i certainly found it!!! I like this site! You guys seem genuinely kind. thank you for the chance to introduce myself proper.

Click on User Control Panel on the top of your screen, then Profile on the left side, then Edit Signature directly under profile and you're good to go.
