Hello to everyone. I have been lurking around here for years and at least one server jump if memory serves me as well! I have finally gotten bitten with the bug to get back into all things related to medieval society. This of course came from my introduction to D&D in around 1982 and then all of the books that I have read. I look forward to continuing to learn more about one of the my favorite literary sources of fantasy for me.

Re: Well met all!
Welcome! This board is full of info and great advice/references. It helped me substantially when I began to re-embrace my ranger self after a couple of years.
...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.

Welcome and enjoy, if there is anything specific you are looking for and can't find, I am sure one of us can direct you to it.
I am Ringulf the Dwarven Woodsman, I craft leather, wood, metal, and clay,
I throw axes, seaxes, and pointy sticks, And I fire my bow through the day.
Come be my ally, lift up your mead! We'll search out our foes and the Eagles we'll feed!

Thank you all for the welcome! I look forward to learning more from all of you and hopefully being able to contribute some myself.
